CV Optimizer Issues

”My CV upload failed”

Possible causes:
  • File format not supported (use PDF or DOCX)
  • File too large (max 10MB)
  • Corrupted file
Solution:
  1. Ensure your file is PDF or DOCX format
  2. If the file is large, try compressing it
  3. Try pasting the CV text instead of uploading

”The ATS score seems wrong”

Possible causes:
  • Job description was incomplete or summarized
  • CV format is unusual
  • ATS algorithms vary by system
Solution:
  1. Use the complete, original job description
  2. Ensure your CV uses standard section headings
  3. Remember: the score is a prediction, not a guarantee

”The AI rewrite changed my content too much”

Solution: The AI rewrite is a starting point, not a final product:
  1. Review each section carefully
  2. Revert changes that don’t reflect your experience
  3. Personalize the language to sound like you

AI Coach Issues

”The coach doesn’t know about my achievements”

Possible causes:
  • Achievements not logged yet
  • Session started before achievements were added
Solution:
  1. Log achievements in the Achievements module first
  2. Start a new coaching session after logging achievements
  3. Saved notes from previous sessions are included automatically

”Confidence score is low”

Possible causes:
  • Limited relevant achievements for the topic
  • New user with minimal evidence base
  • Topic outside the coach’s training scope
Solution:
  1. Review the remediation flags for suggestions
  2. Log more achievements relevant to the topic
  3. Provide more context in your messages

”Session was lost”

Possible causes:
  • Sessions are ephemeral by default
  • Browser closed without saving
Solution:
  1. Always click “Save Note” for important insights
  2. Saved notes persist across sessions
  3. Start a new session and reference saved notes

Revenue Tracking Issues

”Currency conversion seems wrong”

Possible causes:
  • Exchange rates are approximate
  • Rates update periodically, not in real-time
Solution:
  1. Currency conversion is for reference only
  2. Individual contributions show original currency
  3. Totals are estimates based on current rates

”Can’t find a client account”

Possible causes:
  • Client name doesn’t match existing records
  • New client not yet in the system
Solution:
  1. Type the client name manually
  2. New clients are added to your personal list
  3. Check spelling if expecting an existing client

General Issues

”Page loads slowly”

Possible causes:
  • Large dataset (many achievements)
  • Slow internet connection
  • Browser cache issues
Solution:
  1. Clear browser cache and cookies
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Check your internet connection
  4. Contact support if persistent

”Changes aren’t saving”

Possible causes:
  • Network interruption
  • Session timeout
  • Browser issue
Solution:
  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Refresh the page and try again
  3. Log out and log back in
  4. Try a different browser

”I found a bug”

Solution:
  1. Note the steps to reproduce the issue
  2. Take a screenshot if possible
  3. Contact support with details:
    • What you were trying to do
    • What happened instead
    • Browser and device information
